The collection and sharing of personal data

If you book a trip with us, we will receive personal information from you. We only use the personal data that you enter via our registration form to be able to book the services you have requested. This data is not passed on to other companies or organizations, except to the parties involved in organizing and conducting your trip. This means that your personal data will be passed on to our local partner organizations (i.e. schools abroad, and any other parties involved in compiling your trip).

Only if there is a suspicion of fraud or misuse of our data, do we hand over personal data to the competent authorities.

We also ask when booking for a name and telephone number of those staying at home, and your relationship with this person. Spanish Language Travels assumes that you inform the people staying at home that this information is in our possession and will only be used by us in the event of an emergency.

Storage, viewing and changing of your data

If you have questions or want to know what personal information we have about you, you can always contact us. After 7 years of inactivity, your data is automatically converted so that it is no longer traceable to you as a person. You have the following rights:

  • view and be able to request the precise personal data that we have from you.
  • receive an explanation of what personal data we have at our disposal and what we do with it.
  • having errors corrected and being able to adjust your personal data.
  • the removal of outdated personal data.
  • withdrawing permission to use and edit your personal data.
  • anonymize your data or delete it so that it is no longer traceable to you as a person.
  • object to a certain use of your personal data such as: -following your visit to our website (tracking) – using your purchase data and preferences to be able to send you specific performance information.

Please note that you must always clearly state who you are, so that we are sure that we will not change or delete data from the wrong person.
